About

About The Peptide Library

The Peptide Library is an educational resource about peptides studied in laboratory and clinical research. Our aim is to explain what these compounds are, how they are thought to work, what the research does and does not show, and where they stand with regulators — in plain language, without hype.

Our editorial approach

  • Evidence first. We describe what studies actually found and clearly separate animal and cell research from human trials.
  • Limitations up front. Many research peptides have little or no human data. We say so rather than overstating benefits.
  • Regulatory status included. We note FDA status, compounding rules and anti-doping considerations where relevant.
  • Educational only. Our articles describe research. They are not instructions for use and not a substitute for a licensed healthcare provider.
